Well fellow classmates, it is almost time to say goodbye. I had fun i learning with all of you, and sad to see it all come to a close. I hope to see you in future courses to come, and Best Wishes to you all.

This course has taught me a lot about my personal writing style. Especially on ways to improve. Although at times I felt going back to school was going to be too much to handle. I have proven myself to be stronger than I first assumed. I am glad to be attendng Kaplan, and happier still with the skills this course and others have taught me. I pray all my fellow classmates can say the same.

Hi Class. This course is about to come to a close. And as they say, the best is saved for last. I might go a little crazy before I turn in my final project. I wish all of you the best on yours, and I hope to see you in another course.

UNIT 7 Peer Review...

Unit 6

This week is unit 6. I am finding so much more infromation than I ever imagined about fetal alcohol syndrome. It is a condition a lot of people like my Mother have never even heard of. I think there ahould be more awareness, espeially for expectant mother's. I keep thinking about a friend of mine who smoked pot throughout her pregnancy, and how no one but those of us close to her never even knew. I just pray her kids are alright despite her poor judgment. The same can be said for mothers who consume alcohol too.

Being a student at Kaplan has surprised me in so many ways. When I first started I was so nervous. I just knew I was going to have a hard time. I am now in my fourth set of classes, and I could not have been more wrong. Truthfully, nothing worth doing should be easy, but I have been able to maintain a fairly good GPA, and I can not even begin to count all the things I have learned. I can honestly say going back to school was one of the best decisions I have made.

Unit 5. Prewriting techniques..........
I can narrow my prewritng techniques down, but mostly I research and write down a lot of different information about the topic I have chosen. It looks like a great big mess, but it helps me narrow down how I want to approach my paper. Then I free write and review until I complete it. This might take ten tries and a lot of man hours, but it hasn't failed me yet.

We are at the end of unit 4. This unit has been about the topic of plagiarism. Plagiarism is an easy mans form of work. It is just plain wrong. Everyone should be able to do his or her own assignments. If  they are given material or another idea from a source, the writer needs to give credit where credit is due. I may not be 100% on APA format, but I will give the credit deserved on all assignments.

Question.... I am doing my paper on fetal alcohol syndrome. Would it be more effective to discuss the consequences a parent should face, or the need for education and prevention.

I chose to do my paper on fetal alcohol syndrome. There are many conditions an infant can suffer from, this being one, we as parents have a choice about, and I am interested to learn just what those choices are, besided the most important.... Don't Drink.

I chose to attend college online because I am a mother of three beautiful children, who need a lot of attention.
By attending Kaplan, I can work, take care of them, and be able to get the education I want, all on my own time. At first I did not think I was going to be able to handle school online. This being my fourth set of classes, i can now say that as long I keep the dedication I started with, I will make it to my degree. I like how I am able to ask questions, and share my ideas with my fellow classmates.

Week two has come to a close. I believe I have bitten off a little more than I can chew. I am a little behind this week due to snow and power outages, but I am proud to say I made it through. Can't wait to see what next week has in store.
